Support Our Work

Would you like to support the Norwegian Cystic Fibrosis Association (NFCF)? Here’s how you can contribute and see the impact of your donation.

Your support truly makes a difference!

Through your support, we can engage in advocacy, provide training, support our Youth and Expert Advisory Boards, carry out information campaigns, and maintain important support groups. With your contribution, you help improve the quality of life for people with CF and PCD, as well as their families. 

See below for an overview of the different ways you can support our association—whether by making a one-time donation, becoming a regular donor, starting a crowdfunding campaign, or supporting our Wellness Fund and Research Fund.

We are approved Approved by the Norwegian Tax Administration for tax deductions on donations/gifts. This means you can receive a tax deduction for donations between NOK 500 and 25,000 to the association and our Research Fund. Read more about the scheme HERE.

Become a regular donor

You can become a regular donor with a voluntary monthly amount. All you need to do is follow the step-by-step instructions below: 

1. Scan QR-code 

2. Enter your desired amount and confirm the next withdrawal date.

3. Click “Complete”, and your regular payment will start. The first withdrawal occurs immediately!

    Start a fundraiser

    You can now easily start a crowdfunding campaign for the Norwegian Cystic Fibrosis Association. Whether it’s for a birthday where you want friends and family to give a donation instead of gifts, or for other occasions, Spleis is a great tool for raising support.

    Give a voluntary amount

    You can easily support us via Vipps by searching for «cystics» or «The Norwegian Cystic Fibrosis Association», or by using our Vipps number: 77851. We greatly appreciate all contributions! For gifts of NOK 1,000 or more, we recommend transferring to our bank account: 7877.08.37986.

    Want to Make a Memorial Donation?

    If you wish to make a memorial gift, please indicate the name of the person you’re honoring in the transfer. This helps us send a letter to the bereaved with the names of the donors.

    Many choose to give memorial donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Research Fund. In such cases, the fund’s board will send a thank-you letter to the bereaved.

    Transfer via regular online banking to bank account is:5122.05.80206 or vipps to 77851, and mark the transfer with “memorial donation” and your name. 

    Support for the Wellness Fund

    The Welfare Fund aims to enhance the well-being of individuals with cystic fibrosis or primary ciliary dyskinesia (PCD) and their families. The fund provides support through individual grants or project funding. Children, youth, and adults with these conditions can apply for support directly or through their families. Funds can be used for treatment programs or recreational activities, either individually or in groups.

    To apply for support from the Welfare Fund, applicants must be members of the CF Association and have paid the membership fee for the relevant year. Typical uses of the fund include purchasing exercise equipment, recreational gear, and other items that improve the quality of life for those with CF or PCD.

    Support CF Research

    The Cystic Fibrosis Research Fund (organization number 977 142 946) operates independently from the Norwegian Cystic Fibrosis Association.

    For donations through NFCF, please use our Vipps number and mark the transfer with "FF" (Research Fund). We will forward the amount, minus administrative costs, to the Research Fund. Without this designation, only one-third of the amount will be allocated to the fund.

    For larger donations to research, we recommend making a direct bank transfer to the Research Fund’s account 9041.06.20714. This method allows you to receive tax deductions, which is not possible via Vipps.

     

    Tax Deductions for Research Donations

    Donations tothe Research Fundqualify for tax deductions under tax rules for contributions to research institutions. Donors are responsible for claiming these deductions on their tax returns.
